Not sure where you’re based but check out Stripe.com
It has better fees than paypal and people can use their credit card numbers straight up. I’ve used on my website and the API is easy as (I’m a wordpress developer by profession). I often push Stripe rather than paypal for my Australia e-commerce clients.
